For start, ...I'm not a huge fan of the design. For start, the Royal Coat of Arms doesn't represent Wales since it was part of the same Kingdom as Wales after Henry VIII brought both countries together. The design also seems a bit disjointed. The 20p and 1p look great but then the 10p and 2p are just a bit too simliar and I don't think the corner within the circle really works very well. Then the shape of the 50p actually conforms to the design unlike any of the others... why?

It's a clever design and compared to other coins, like the Euro, they are good looking. But I feel it falls down on not representing the entire Kingdom and being a little too monarchistic.ERABhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04085741638493565640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2722876918529301547.post-81528082654650481702009-08-11T16:37:30.183-07:002009-08-11T16:37:30.183-07:00there are people selling the 20p's on ebay for...there are people selling the 20p's on ebay for up to £200!Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15673832305657939373noreply@blogger.com
