Banksy vs Bristol Museum. In this, Banksy remixed the museums own collection with his own. People who would never normally go an art exhibtion went to this event. It was brilliant. The main focus was a big room with loads of silly artwork such as the house of commons filled with apes. Simple, obvious ideas executed excellently. The work is humorous and inventive. A funny image of 2 badly drawn stick men with one of them asking “Does anyone actually take this art seriously?”
Banksy is the master of suprise and juxtaposition.
